When I made this video, I was going through my bookmarks and discussing why I had saved a post. The posts referenced in this video was a few threads on X about how and why people sharing certain legal rulings from Sharia were wrong. I learned that Sharia isn’t just about the legal rulings themselves, but the methodology at arriving at decisions. This means that the methodology applied to modern-day circumstances and scenarios, can cause rulings for the nuances of a situations be different than maybe it was 1,400 years ago. It was very eye-opening.
I also go on a bit of a rant on the one thing that bugs me the most about Islamic postings on the internet.
