So, the question came up of whether I do both transcript proofreading and technical documentation.
The answer is I do both. I am currently concentrating on transcript proofreading.
For my technical writing people, I have more than one solution available, whether that is documentation polishing or information architecture analysis and detailed roadmaps to scale your corporate documentation, taking it from where you are to where you’re trying to go, while still enabling your staff to maintain and create new documentation going forward.
I have solutions for all of those things, and I’m happy to talk to you about what you need. It’s far cheaper for me to come in and do all that hard stuff up front for you first because I have the background and experience. I’ve done it in more than one place to show you exactly what needs to be done and even give you the steps, the tasks, and the stories that you can pop right into a ticketing system and work with your project manager on to work those things into your sprints to help you get to where you’re trying to go with that. My website offers more information if you’d like to discuss this further.
If you just want to use me as a sounding board and say, hey, we’re doing this, we’re doing that. What do you think about this and that?
I’m happy to help you look at that, too. Let me know. You can reach me through my website.
